Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp Trek follows next to the Mt Everest trail of Gokyo Lake Valley then other rest of hiking journey includes regular base camp way. The entire trek leads through the heartland of the Sherpa people who are the original inhalant of the highland.  Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp Trek passes numerous picturesque typical Sherpa villages and many colorful gompas.  Gokyo Cho La Pass Everest Base camp trekking is also known as Everest Circuit trek, thus it is one of the most famous and adventurous treks in the Everest region. Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp Trek will take you to climb up one of the best panoramic view point Gokyo Ri atop (5350m).
The first day of the Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp trek starts 35 minute a short mountain flight to Lukla then follows to Namche Bazzar through by crossing Dudhkoshi (milky) River valley. It follows the route via high pass of Cho La Pass at 5330meters into the Base Camp of Mount Everest. Along the way of Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp trek you will be passing grazing settlement of Yak to reach the Gokyo lakes and we climb the Gokyo Ri peak for the Panoramic views. You will get an opportunity observe the stunning scenery of Mt. Everest, Makalu and Cho Oyo (8021m) Mt Everest  8848 m and many more other surrounding peaks. After the pass you will drop to the other side of Khumbu valley which take you to explore from Kalapatthar (5545m) ascent and probably the best views of Mt Everest.

 Day by day Itinerary 

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
Arrive in Kathmandu airport. Then transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley City Tour
After breakfast,full day city Tour at Kathmandu in important and popular tour spots which are related with history, culutre and tradition of Nepal ,Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Monaster and Patan Durbar square which are in records of world heritage sites too.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding (2,652m)
Early morning we’ll be transferred to domestic airport to fly to Lukla (2,800m/). It takes 40 minutes scenic flight to Lukla airport and we will have tea break,. The trek starts with most scenic view of Numbur Himal & Phari. We further on to Phakding passing some Sherpa farm villages. We follow the trail to Dudhkoshi River with gradual with few ups from Thado Koshi, where you can have a lunch with superb view of Kusum-Kangaru (6,369m) crossing a short suspension bridge, from here after a short climb brings us to the Ghat village, another 1 ½ hr of gradual walk brings you to Phakding village for the overnight stop at lodge after 3-4 hrs walk and reminder stroll around the village for local knowledge.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
The trek start in the morning and after crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh-Kosi the walk is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill and re-crossing the same river again with magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) from the Benkar village. Trek continuing crossing the bridges and reaches at Monjo where is entrance gate of the Sagarmatha National Park ( Known as Everest National Park ), where your trekking permit checked and keeps the record of all trekkers going to and from this place including the local trekking staff as well. When enter the National park boundary we descend and a gradual walk brings us to the suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi river, after the bridge Jorsalle village is reached, the last village till Namche Bazaar, from here the walk is pleasant on the river bed till the last bridge over the Imjatse river is reached, from here the walk is along the winding uphill path all the way to Namche Bazaar, with magnificent view of Kwangde peak and it other sister peaks towards east with Kusum kangaru on the back as you climb higher, view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and the closer view of Tawache peak can be seen from some part on the way to Namche. Finally we reach at colorful houses called Namche Bazzar main gate of Khumbu region after 5-6 hrs walk and we overnight stay at Lodge.
  
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.
You may have full day leisure today for the acclimatization or stroll around the market, if Saturday can be seen many people in Saturday market for shopping to fulfill their daily needs and only one shopping market in the surrounding areas. Also you can visit Sherpa Museum as well a great place to learn Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering or visit up to the luxury Everest view hotel & Syangboche or till Khumjung Village  and stroll back to hotel for overnight.

Day 06: Namche to Dole. (4,200m)
As we start trip to Dole from namche the first part until Sagnasa leads easy and pretty flat. After we cross this town we meet the junction then we fallow left up trail to Dole. In the spring time thispart will be bright when all flowers bloom.

Day 07: Trek to Machhermo (4410m)
From Dole, Our Everest Gokyo trekking goes up gradually along the side of the valley, rhododendron jungle giving way to scrub juniper as elevation increases regularly. The track ascends on a partically height trail for one hour to Lgabarma Kharka at 4,325 meter and additional an hour to Luza at 4,390m.  Finally dodging roughly  edge to increase the first outlooks of Machhermo village.

Day 07: Gokyo Valley (4,790m)
Around Machhermo today the trek climbs a ridge for an outstanding outlooks both down the gorge to Khantega and up towards Cho Oyu (8,153m). Further then the edge the valley extends as track go by side to side Pangram at 4,390m. We go down to the River bank before start the climb up to the fetal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier. It is vertical scale on the moraine afterwards the path heights out as it fallows the valley past second lake. A bit further up we arrive to Gokyo valley for overnight stay.

Day 08: Exploration day at Gokyo lake valley
Today we are main day of Gokyo valley Everest base camp via Chola pass trekking as we are Gokyo valley. An early morning we climb to Gokyo Ri (5,463m) where from the Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt Cho Oyu (8,153m), Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and other peaks are visible. We then come back to   Gokyo valley and if we have power still we may hike to fifth Lake where from the view of Mt. Everest is amazing. Back to Gokyo valley for night stay

Day 09: Gokyo valley to Chola Pass (5368m) And  Dzonglha (4830 m)
The trail goes down from Gokyo valley passing the second lake, about half trail between the first and second lakes we take the east moraine to Chola Pass (Chhugyuma) at 5,368m passing the village called Dragnak and hiking the steep up. The Chola Pass is not difficult but it is steep up and involves a glacier on the eastern side. As we arrive the at top we meet small frozen lake and trek goes gently down for short time and steep down crossing rocky stones to Dzonglha for overnight stay.

Day 10: Trek Lobuche (4,930m)
Keep on trek along the moraine of the glacier; with the views of kala Patthar (5,545m) and Mt. Pumori (7,165m) we walk today high above the Pheriche village. Preetu normal day today takes about 4 hours walking. Important day also for acclimatization, Rest of the day we may take simple hike around.

Day 11: Trek to Gorakshep (5,160m) & hike to Kalapatthar (5,545m)
Today, we’ll be walk in the morning towards the Gorakshep. After 2 hrs walking in a windy and rocky path will arrive at Gorekshep for our overnight. This trails offer the wonderful view with Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse, other peaks, Everest Base Camp, Kalapathar and below the Gorekshep valley including top of the world. After hotel check in our journey continue steep climb to the top after 2 hour walk on our pace. After reaching the top, you will feel beaming as you achieve the moment that you been dreaming, since the beginning of the journey. Top of Kalapathar is a small rocky peak on the southwest ridge of Mt. Pumori, the view from here is beyond imagination as the Everest looks amazing, the panoramic view from this spot is something to cherish, and you feel its worth the hard climb up to here and to feel at the top of the world, and can be seen to the south Khumbu glacier sweeps below you, and you can also see the Everest Base camp down below on the moraine of Khumbu glacier and lot of picturesque scenery. Stroll back to Gorekshep for overnight.
  
Day 12: Hike to Everest base camp (5,316m) And trek to Phiriche (4,200m
After breakfast our adventure continues towards Everest Base Camp and to the Khumbu Ice-fall, the path from Gorekshep can be misleading, follow the lead Sherpa, every year the trail changes due to the movements of the glacier, the walk is quite strenuous due to the high altitude and thin air, the walk passes through over rocky dunes and moraine and streams, till you reach the base camp. Everest Base Camp is lively with commotion during the high expedition season. It takes 2-3 hrs to get to base camp and after a grand time here retrace the journey back to Gorekshep  And  Trek back to Pheriche (4,200m) after lunch  we walk fairly easy down to Pheriche for the overnight. It takes 4-5 hrs walk down

Day 13: Pheriche to Namche (3,440m)
As we go on from Pheriche crossing bridge of Khumbu Khola first we trek down to Pangboche and cross the small bridge again and enter to jungles. We climb to Tyangboche for lunch and steeply down to Phungi Tenga. Our trek leads up to Sansa and arrives at high above the Doudh koshi River. Passing several turning we arrive to Namche

Day: 14 Trek to Phakding (2,652m)
Firstly we descend the long way before cross the bridge and further walk to Monju and then Phakding 

Day 15: Trek to Lukla  (2,800m)
The final day for walking with enjoying the green scenery and passing through the incredible mountain scenery with local Sherpa village. we arrival in Lukla

Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu
The flight time to Kathmandu, are schedule for morning normally, because of the wind in the afternoon, sometime the flight time can be delayed due to bad weather and other reason beyond our command

Day 17: Fly Back to Home

Day 11 Trek to Kala Pathar (5545m) and trek  Dhongla (4843 M)
Day 12 Early moring wake up and start the trek for chola pass (5420m) and trek to Thanga 
Day 13 Trek to gokyo lake ( 4750M) and expolore to gokyo Ri 
Day 14 Trek to Dole (4040m)
Day 15 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m).
Day 16 Trek to Lukla ( 2800m)/ 
Day 17 Fly to Kathmandu
