Ghorepani poon hill trekking is one of the popular trekking tour in Annapurna region. Ghorepani trekking area, north of Pokhara, called "Ghorepani" offers some of the most dramatic close-up views of the highest and most beautiful mountains in the world. The abrupt variation in altitude found here is astonishing. Ghorepani poon hill trek passes through rhododendron and mixed forest alive with ferns and birds, through spectacular villages of the Gurkha soldiers with their spectacular Himalayan back drops leads to Ghorapani 2855 m. The following morning visits Poon Hill at 3210 m . a vantage point to view the Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and the Annapurna massif. Ghorepani poon hill trekking makes a small circuit and visits Tadapani (2050 m), Ghandruk gurung village and finally ends at pokhara than by flight or by tourist bus back to Kathmandu. Itinerary:
Day 01: KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport and meet up there and  Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for your own leisure. Trekking permit process and overnight at hotel.

Day 02: KATHMANDU
Leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back to hotel and stay.

Day 03: KATHMANDU - POKHARA
Early morning we drive for Pokhara by tourist bus or by flight. Check in hotel. Rest of the day free for explore leisure. Overnight at hotel

Day 04: POKHARA-BIRETHANTI -TIKHEDUNGA:
One hour drive to Birethati from Pokhara (Alt. 1100 m) situated along the Modi River. people are very friendly and series of four water fall provide excellent swimming. The trails ascends to Tikhedunga.

Day 05: TIKHEDUNGA-GHOREPANI (2850M)
It is a steep climb to Ghorepani from Tikhedunga. Ghorepani is one of the most popular village along the Annapurna Circuit. Many trekkers, who do not have enough time to trek the whole circuit, Still make it is Ghorepani to view a magnificent panorama of the Himalayas peaks. It is actually situated the ridge separating the valley of kali Gandaki from the valley of Modi river and is one of the highest point along the whole trek if you do not have include the Thorangpass. Almost all of village are Magars.

Day 06: GHOREPANI-TADAPANI:
Early morning your guide will take you to Poonhill excursion (3210m) one hour climb. One can have the excellent views of peaks of Himalayas and in spinning best views of Rhododendron flowers in its vicinity or in the trail in between Ghorepani and Tadapani. The red one called "Lali Guras" is the national flower of Nepal

Day 07: TADAPANI-GHANDRUK:
Ghandrung (2012m) it is the most interesting tribal Gurung village in Nepal, which has provided Gorkha Soldiers. It has excellent close views of Annapurna South, Machapuchhre and Himalchuli.

DAY 08: GHANDRUK-POKHARA
A great view of Annapurna and Machapuchhre Himal Descend to Nayapool and drive back to Pokhara

DAY 9: Pokhara Free day
Seight Seen in Pokhara valley if you like to paragliding that will be possible

DAY 10: KATHMANDU
Free day for your shopping and explore Thamel market. Overnight

DAY 11: Departure
Departure transfer to airport for your onward destination.
