About Biratnagar and koshi Tappu 

Koshi Tappu wild life reserve has carved a place it self as a birdwatchers's paradise. The reserve spreads over saptari and Sunsari district in eastern south of Nepal defined by the eastern and western embankments of River Koshi. The reserve has been recognized as wetland site from 1987.The vegetation of the reserve is mainly grassland with patches of scrub and deciduous reverine forest that makes Koshi tappu special is that birds seen here are not found other part of Nepal. The reserve has recorded around

Day : 01

Arrive Biratnagar airport. Meet and drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife camp.

13:00 : Lunch

15:00 : Birding in the nearby surroundings of the park.

19:00 : Dinner.

Day : 02

05:30 : Wake up call.

06:00 : Morning nature walk within near vicinity.

08:00 : Breakfast.

09:00 : Soft Wildlife rafting on the Sapta Koshi river with naturalists to help you view some of the water birds, water buffaloes, dolphins and various marine and jungle wildlife. End boat trip by the bank of the river and have picnic lunch. Short drive to the Koshi Barrage to view the bird life and fresh water Dolphins. Late afternoon return to the camp.

Day : 03

05:30 : Wake up call.

06:00 : Bird watching in to the jungle near by.

08:00 : Breakfast.

09:00 : Departure to Biratnagar Airport.

09:00 : Birding all along the dam of the Koshi River and the area of Pink tower crossing the Koshi barrage. Picnic lunch at the pink tower. Late afternoon return to the camp for birdwatching..

05:30 : Wake up call.

06:00 : More bird watching in to the jungle near by.

08:00 : Breakfast.

09:00 : Departure to Biratnagar airport.
